Privacy Policy

Strava activity data — When connected via OAuth, we access distance, pace, duration, elevation, and heart rate. We request read-only (activity:read) access.

Profile info — Your Strava athlete name is used only to personalise the editor during your session.

Card generation — Data is used solely to render your story card on your screen.

Service improvement — Anonymised interaction data helps us understand popular layouts and technical issues.

No storage — We do not store fitness data on our servers. Strava data is fetched fresh each session; manual data lives only in your browser memory.

No sharing — Personal fitness data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

As required by the Strava API Agreement, Strava may monitor data related to your use of Strava API features within Pursuit Tag.

We use localStorage for onboarding status and session settings.

Strava datais discarded when your session ends or the tab is closed.

In the app, open Settings (profile icon in the header when signed in) and tap Delete account. You can also use pursuittag.com/account/delete.

Deleting your account revokes Pursuit Tag's Strava access, clears your session cookies, and removes editor preferences and local photo history stored on your device.

We do not maintain a separate Pursuit Tag password or server-side profile beyond your Strava OAuth session.

You can also revoke access anytime at strava.com/settings/apps.

All transmission is encrypted over HTTPS.

We use secure OAuth flows so your Strava credentials are never exposed to us.

Pursuit Tag is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
